Recently, the nuclear power pump, valve, electrical equipment and measuring instruments research and development of major special projects successfully through the State Electric Power Investment Group Corporation major special office organization of the pre-acceptance. A series of pumps and valves, such as waste heat removal pump, CVS replenishment pump, explosion valve, main steam isolation valve and so on, have attracted the attention of the industry.
The acceptance expert group is composed of 19 experts from China Machinery Industry Federation, China General Machinery Industry Association, Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Jiaotong University. The expert group agreed that the research group has mastered the key manufacturing and test verification technology, achieved the objectives and assessment indicators stipulated in the task contract, and realized the autonomy and localization of the equipment. The implementation of the project has adopted a combination of production, learning and research, formed a complete set of supply bases and re-innovation bases, and trained the design, manufacturing, testing, appraisal of the whole industrial chain personnel.
During the research and development of waste heat pump, R&D personnel conquered the key technologies of high cavitation resistance hydraulic model and medium inclusion air operation, and solved the lubrication and cooling problems of thrust bearing and super-long water guide bearing. The product has passed the performance test of basic type test, as well as the rigorous working condition test of hot test, thermal shock test, aeration test and impurity test.
The project was officially launched in January 2012 by Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute in conjunction with Shanghai Kaiquan Pump Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Haishi Pump Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Dalian Deep Blue Pump Co., Ltd., Dalian Dagao Valve Co., Ltd., Shanghai Valve Factory Co., Ltd., Suzhou Newway Valve Co., Ltd. The company, Zhejiang Tripartite Control Valve Co., Ltd. and other cooperative units jointly implemented, achieved a number of high-level technical results, applied for 80 patents (37 invention patents), has authorized 48 (10 invention patents).
